Pictured above is the newest offering from Yamaha. It’s the Yamaha DTX450K electronic drum kit. The DTX400 series marks new territory for Yamaha. This new kit is built with the beginner in mind. The DTX400 Series comes in two configurations. The DTX450K pictured above and the DTX400K pictured here:

Both use the new DTX400 drum module which includes 169 sounds.

Here is a few more features of the DTX400 drum module:

• 10 Preset kits which can be overwritten.
• 10 interactive Training Functions w/Voice Guidance.
• 10 play-along songs and new songs can be downloaded via USB.

One other cool feature of this electronic drum kit is the inclusion of a 3-zone snare pad. Don’t let the look of this module fool you. It packs a pretty good sounding punch which can be heard over at the Yamaha website.
