With the addition of these new Roland electronic drum kits, Roland seems to have completed its current “new” line up of edrum offerings. The current complete line of Roland Vdrums is as followed:
V-Pro: TD-30K/TD-30KV (which replaces the Roland TD-20x line of kits)
V-Tour: TD-15K/TD-15KV (which replaces the Roland TD-9 line of kits)
V-Compact: TD-11K/TD-11KV (which replaces the Roland TD-4 line of kits)
These new Roland offerings incorporate the new SuperNATURAL engine that Roland first revealed with the new Roland TD-30 drum module and is a great improvement over the older TD-4/9 modules. I really believe that these new kits will be the bread and butter of Roland electronic drum kit sales for the next few years.
