Pearl has just announced this week at PASIC 2011, that their Epro Lives Tru-Trac heads will now be available by themselves. You may recall back on November 2009 (Pearl ePro Live drums coming soon!) Hellfiredrum.com was one of the first to tell you about the Pearl ePro Live drum kit. Since the release of Pearl’s new electronic drum kit, many Pearl users have been asking for just the Tru-Trac heads to be made available for purchase since many of those users already have a kit. You ask and you shall receive. According to Pearl, the Tru-Trac Pack (which converts any acoustic kit to electronic) comes with the drum triggers, extended tension rods, and pass thru air vent hole instrument cable connectors. The announced price for a five piece Tru-Trac Pack is $899.00. More pieces, including the cymbal pads, other Tru-Trac head sizes  and the REDbox module, will be made available.
