Published on February 6, 2014 by in eDrum News

Pintech was awarded the “Best in Show” designation at this years winter NAMM 2014 for Company to watch. Pintech has been around for a while and many already now about Pintech electronic percussion products. Pintech in the last year or so, have really started to push their brand. I can honestly say that I wasn’t going to post about this being that Pintech is not a new company. However after looking back at Pintech in last year it has become obvious that Pintech has decided to be a much bigger player in the electronic percussion area than they have been. Congrats Pintech!, we will be watching and can’t wait to see what you guys are planing for in 2014. For more information about Pintech, please visit: http://pintechworld.com

Published on January 27, 2014 by in eDrum News

Zildjian Gen 16 Buffed Bronze

Published on January 24, 2014 by in eDrum News

Announced at winter NAMM 2014. The new Zildjian Gen 16 Buffed Bronze AE cymbals which is an update to their popular nickel plated Gen 16 AE cymbals. From the Zildjian web site:

The Zildjian Sound Lab has created the next generation of reduced volume cymbals, the Gen16 Buffed Bronze Series. Using knowledge gained from the original Gen16 nickel plated cymbal line, Zildjian craftsman drew upon the Company’s rich design history to make subtle but important changes to the bell profiles of the original cymbals. Additional lathing has also been applied on the larger size models to increase the lower fundamental overtone structure. Also significant is the rich buffed bronze finish of the new line that greatly enhances its appearance and produces a warmer tone than the original Gen16 nickel plated models. – See more at: http://zildjian.com/News-Events/2014/1/Gen16-Buffed-Bronze-Cymbals
