Jack O’Donnell who owns Numark Industries, Akai Professional, Alesis, ION Audio, and Alto Professional has announced his acquisition of Sonivox. As regular readers to Hellfiredrums.com you may remember that Sonivox was the company that supplied the Blue Jay Soundset for the Alesis DM10.

Sonivox is also the company the Alesis stated they were working with to develop software for their up coming IPad based drum module called the Alesis DM Dock.
