If you get a chance, check out the new Simmons SD9K drum set. The new Simmons drum set has a few new features on the drum module that includes not only more sounds but, a new display, both MIDI in & out, an SD card slot and has a USB port to connect to your computer. Other new features include dual zone cymbals with choke, all new pad design and a larger snare pad. If you head over to the Musician’s Friend web site you can see the new Simmons kit. I got a closer look at the kit myself when I saw it at a local Guitar Center. The Simmons kits are getting better with every release. This new Simmons kit is definitely worth looking at if you are in the market for an electronic drum set.
