New Simmons SD7PK (pictured) and the new SD9KR

Simmons has released two new electronic drum sets. Both sets build from the success of their flag ship model, the Simmons SD9K. When Simmons released the SD9K they introduced their new electronic drum trigger pad design. That new design is working so well, that Simmons is now using these new pads on the new SD7PK (updated SD7K) and SD9KR.

The going price for the SD7PK is $599.99 and it should be available 8/10/09. As for the new SD9KR, information is quite thin right now, but it most like just a minor update to the SD9K flag ship model.
