I will not have a total review until after I used it for about a month. The heads just started shipping last week, so they are that new. I can tell you that my first impressions of the head (i.e. quality and feel) are pretty good. For being 3 ply, I expected to feel a little heavier, but I would say it isn't any heavier than a Roland mesh head. Only with testing will I be able to comment further. I hope that helps. I just ordered a DM10 Studio kit and expecting it soon. I'm gonna go ahead and order Billy's new mesh heads though. Just to confirm, The DM10's kick drum is a 10" head as well? The Hart Magnums I had lasted about 2 years before failure. Out of all of them the best is the Roland heads. I've owned five Roland heads since 2002. Only one has broke. They other four I sold with the drum triggers they were on. I have been told that they have a few very small holes but are still being use. I hope that helps. I have never used the Pintech.
