When you buy the Simmons SD9K kit you only get a “Quick Start Guide“, which doesn’t get into much of the nuts and bolts of the drum module itself. What really stinks is Simmons own website doesn’t even have this manual up for download. Well, after some digging Hellfire Electronic Drum Systems has gotten a PDF file of the complete user manual. So, for all those who have been looking to get a complete user manual, here you go:
A little back ground information:
You may have heard of the new Simmons SD9K. It is the highest end “New” Simmons edrum kit to date (see UPDATE: Simmons SD9K Drum Set). It also appears to be fairing a lot better than the other early “New” Simmons kits (SD5K & SD7K). That’s because the new SD9K was redesigned from the ground up and is not the same basic re-branded Medeli electronic drum set like the SD5K and SD7K. Though this new Simmons SD9k is made by Medeli it is custom made just for Simmons. The SD9K is totally different from it predecessors. If you get a chance check it out.

I’m sorry, I don’t have a manual for the Simmons E-ED001. Is it the same as the SD5K? If so, you might be able to get it from their website Simmonsdrums.net. I hope that helps.
